2008 Information Now Available

E3 Camp has been operating in Albemarle County since 1995. Campers are rising second, third, and fourth graders with a keen interest in all things scientific and a love of the outdoors. The goal of the camp is to learn and to have fun. Be advised--we often get wet and dirty in the process! Old clothes and shoes are a must.

Four mornings a week, campers travel to visit a local research lab, farm, or business involved in science. After the visit we explore a local stream, lake, or river to learn about the wonderful world of water and the importance of water to all creatures – big and small.

Ann Mallek and Nancy Newman, with a combined 60 years of science education experience, lead E3 Summer Science Camp.

2008 camp sessions - Monday through Thursday, 9 am to noon:
July 7-10, July 14-17, and July 21-24
