2011 Information Now Available

E3 Camp has been operating in Albemarle County since 1995. Campers are rising second, third, and fourth graders with a keen interest in all things scientific and a love of the outdoors. The goal of the camp is to learn and to have fun. Be advised--we often get wet and dirty in the process! Old clothes and shoes are a must.

Four mornings a week, campers travel to visit a local research lab, farm, or business involved in science. After the visit we explore a local stream, lake, or river to learn about the wonderful world of water and the importance of water to all creatures big and small.

Ann Mallek leads E3 Summer Science Camp.

2011 camp sessions - 9 am to noon. Week 1 runs Tuesday-Friday. Weeks 2-3 run Monday-Thursday:
July 5-8, July 11-14, and July 18-21

Pick-up and drop-off will be at Venable School, 406 14th Street NW in Charlottesville. Click here for directions.
