Ann Mallek taught science and technology at St. Anne’s-Belfield Lower School for 10 years and is now an outreach educator for the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Ann grew up on a farm in Albemarle County where she studied the wild creatures and cared for farm animals. She holds a B.A. in Zoology from Connecticut College and worked in research.
She is an advocate for conservation and ecosystem preservation. Ann and her family live on a cattle farm in Earlysville where they raise USDA naturally raised, antibiotic free, certified grass fed beef and sell directly to families.
